As a Nuby UK brand ambassador, Johnny and I are very lucky in that we get sent products. This month we received lots of exciting bath toys which I couldn’t wait to show Johnny. He loves baths as much as his Mummy and although he’s still really young, he’s very alert and takes notice of different colours so he still loved these.

I think most people had the numbers and letters* stuck to the side of their bath when they younger. I remember always trying to spell out my name or Mum and Dad so these are such a great way to learn. They also float in the water so Johnny likes watching them around him which is so cute to watch. My personal favourites are these kissing fish*. You pull them apart and they wiggle about in the water and come back together. JJ is too young to do it himself yet but he loves watching me do it for him.

If you never know if the bath is the right temperature for your little one then you definitely need the Nuby safe duck*. Simply leave it in the bath for a minute and if the water is too hot it will display HOT in white on the bottom. This saves so much worrying whether the water is going to be too warm and upset Johnny. It’s also a cute toy for him! We’ve just been using the splish splash stacking cups* to wash Johnny’s hair, he loves the water trickling on his head and it means the water doesn’t go in his eyes.  In a few months Johnny can play with these himself, stack them up and knock them down which he’ll love.

We also received the bath time net* which we haven’t used yet as it’s a bit old for him. This is a fun game for toddlers to help develop their motor skills and also distracts them whilst you wash their hair! Finally, we’ve been playing with this yellow submarine* that zooms through the water. These products from Nuby have helped Johnny enjoy his bath times even more and it’s one of my favourite things to do with him as he smiles so much.

Does your little one love bath time?

You may remember I posted about Johnny and I being Nuby UK ambassadors last year, we’re finally here with our first review! As I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding we hadn’t had chance to try out the Nuby Natural Touch Steriliser and Dryer* until last week as I’ve started to express. Nuby have also very kindly offered to give one of my readers their very own steriliser and dryer too, you can enter in the Rafflecopter box below!

We chose the the black version as the Tommee Tippee perfect prep we have is also black so I thought they’d match but it also comes in white. As the name suggests this clever product not only sterilises your bottles and breast pump it also dries them too! When I was only expressing to relieve pressure in the first few days of Johnny arriving, I didn’t bother to dry the pump properly as I wasn’t giving him the milk but I did notice the milk was really watery. However, now that I’m doing it properly I’m drying the pump and bottles in here, it’s a life saver when I’m on my own with Johnny. The product has three functions – sterilise only, sterilise and quick dry and sterilise and super dry. I’m never in a rush for the bottles as I have too many so I go for the super dry to save me drying with a tea towel as I find bits always transfer. You can easily see from the unit which option you’ve selected by the blue light.

Some sterilisers are really ugly and bulky but I love the sleek black design of this especially as most of my kitchen accessories are black so it doesn’t look out of place. The unit holds 5 bottles plus other accessories such as a breast pump. The best factor is that if you keep the lid closed the bottles stay sterile for 24 hours which is great as we don’t need all the bottles within a few hours time. It’s also compatible with all bottle types so don’t worry if you only have one brand and of course you can sterilise soothers in here too. If like me your baby hates being put down, you can easily use this one handed – it’s that simple. This has saved so much time already and will only be used more and more over the next few months as we try to get Johnny used to one or two bottles a day as well as breastfeeding. The giveaway is open to UK residents only and will be sent from Nuby UK.

I’m so excited to announce Baby Heapy and I are Nuby UK brand reps! I’ll speak for us both when I say we’re really excited to try their products once baby appears but for now, I just wanted to show off this amazing package they very kindly sent to us. As a first time mum, I’m a bit clueless at what exactly we need/Baby will like but Nuby sent us a selection of products to try so we can really get to know what Baby takes to.

First up, I’ve heard about many babies being colic so these Nuby 360 anti-reflux and colic bottles* are going to be very useful if Baby Heapy is also colic. I know Kirsty recently wrote a post about how amazing they’ve been for her little boy so I have really high hopes for them. They also come with a years supply of teats.

We also received 6 cute Natural Touch bottles* with ‘I Love You to the Moon & Back’ and stars on them which even though they look pretty big, they’re for 0+ months so will last a good while. The teats are inspired by the shape and texture of mum’s breast in order to encourage babies to latch on easily. The 6 bottle set also includes a tiny soother i.e. dummy and a cute monkey that attaches to it. I actually called our baby monkey from the start, when they were a tiny poppy seed so this cute teddy is perfect. Nuby say 9/10 babies accepted the easy latch softflex teat so are perfect for us as we’re planing to combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding so Ryan can help with feeds too. The bottles are slow feed and hold up to 9oz.

I’ve mentioned before that we have emergency dummies including these Nuby night dummies*. They are one size so these will last from 0-18m although I’m hoping we won’t use them for that long. They glow in the dark so are easy to find should they lose it and come with a orthodontic cherry shape with texture that comforts.

These cute Snug and Dry bibs* match the Natural Touch bottles which is perfect. These again are great for breast fed and bottle bed babies plus are gender neutral which is perfect for us team yellow Mummy and Daddies. Although we can’t use the BugaLoop teether toy* for a while, until they start teething, I’m interested to see if this helps relieve any pain! It’s a hard and soft teether for cutting and strengthening Baby’s teeth.

A massive thanks to Nuby for allowing us to be a #NubyUKBrandRep. I can’t wait to test all the products once Baby arrives and let you know how we get along with them.

Do you use anything from Nuby for your baby?
