All Together Now

All together now group conversation

All Together Now is a group for international people living & working in the Lake District. We share English Language conversation practice, and a chance to socialize & find out more about our local area…..and to make the most of where we are living.

Meetings are on Tuesdays 3:15 to 5pm.
Everyone is welcome.

We are in partnership with Learning Plus, who run English Language classes in Ambleside Library (Tuesdays 1-3pm/Thursdays 6-8pm).

Our Place Youth Club

Our Place youth club runs on Tuesday and Wednesday evening during term time. During the holidays the team run trips and residentials.

The Tuesday evenings are aimed at the 10 to 14 year age group, and runs from 5 – 7pm.

The Wednesday evenings are aimed at the 14 – 17 year age group, and runs from 7 – 9pm. Charges are £1.50 for each session

The group have their own bespoke room that is sectioned into 3 zones for creating, gaming and chilling. And they use the hall for their regular sports activities. Each session offers a variety of fun, educational and motivating activities, including arts, crafts, cookery, health education, peer pressure and body image.

The Evergreen Club

The Evergreen Club for the over 50s meets from 2pm to 4pm every Wednesday during term time. Each week there is a varied programme including interesting speakers, activities, trips and lots of time for chats over cups of tea or coffee, and it costs just £2 per session.

Games for Men

Games for men

Games for Men runs every Thursday morning from 10am to 12.30pm, and costs £2 per session. This “men only” group meets over games such as Dominos, Backgammon, table tennis, table football, and there is an opportunity to develop computer skills as there are PCs available.
