As promised in my Delilah haul, I’ve finally put together a post of the other bits I bought from Space NK. As I said in that post, I had a naughty splurge a few weeks back when they had the offer of the free advent calendar, so I couldn’t resist! I definitely don’t need anymore makeup but as I feel like I need a treat I picked up a few products I fancy trying!
Nars Eyeshadow in Ondine £18
I saw this eyeshadow on Anna’s blog ages ago and thought the colour would be gorgeous for this time of the year. It’s a purple based taupe and is great either on its own or blended with similar colours. I’ve personally been using this on it’s own for a simple everyday look as it goes great with my hazel eyes. Nars are one of my favourite eyeshadow brands, they’re long lasting and sell every shade possible!
Rodial Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water £29
I’m in need of a new cleanser and the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water had some great reviews yet was pretty reasonably priced compared to other brands. I’ve been using this as a micellar water and apart from the rose scent I really like it. I love that it comes with a pump as with other micellar waters you have to tip them and hope they don’t spill everywhere! This is really great for sensitive skin and doesn’t sting my skin like previous toners/micellar waters I’ve tried and tested.
By Terry Rouge-Expert Click Stick in Rosy Flush £24.50
This is my new favourite lipstick, everything about it is gorgeous! By Terry are a luxurious brand and I would have expected this to be more expensive. The formula is so soft and applies so well. The colour is my perfect colour, a deep pink which looks great either through the day or with a dark eye at night. I love the click packaging and the tip’s in a tear drop shape which means it’s easy to get a perfect shape when applying. I’d 100% buy this in more shades!
Rodial Stem Cell Lip Balm £12
I’ve wanted to try this for a while as I do like a nice lip balm and this is a cheaper/smaller version than the usual. This is quite a thick balm so is perfect for this time of the year when our lips seem to dry out. For £12 I’m glad I tried a smaller version as it’s definitely worth the money. The only issue is the rose scent, I’m really not a fan!
I was a little naughty and opened my advent calendar a few days early so I could get the Space NK voucher from day 1 as it’s only valid until Christmas Eve (plus I’m just really impatient). I also had a £10 rewards voucher so I opted for the next two products.
Kevyn Aucoin The Essential Eye Shadow Set £46
The first is the Kevyn Aucoin eye palette which looks great for an everyday natural look. I haven’t tried any Kevyn Aucoin eye shadows before but this did get good reviews so I was excited to try it, though it is pretty pricey. I couldn’t believe how small it was when I picked it up. I’m not sure you can see on the image but it’s like palm size! The colours are pretty but very flakey too so there is quite a bit of fall out when applying. Overall, I wouldn’t repurchase the eyeshadows in this range.
Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in Lucky £28
I’ve had this Chantecaille lipgloss in lucky before and I was really sad when I finished it. I’m all about the natural look at the moment due to being full of a cold and tired ALL the time so this is perfect for adding a bit of shimmer to my lips. It’s quite pricey but it smells gorgeous, looks lovely and isn’t sticky which means my hair doesn’t stick to it!
