Now Autumn has finally arrived, even though it’s still a little too warm to fully get excited, I’m looking forward to those Autumn Pamper Nights. After a long day at work, all I want to do once the cold weather sets in is have a nice, long bath! Although I can’t have it as hot as usual whilst being pregnant, baths really are one of my favourite things especially as baby normally kicks away whilst I’m in there relaxing.
For body wash, I always use my Body Shop coconut shower gel that I have stocked up in my drawer. This smell just reminds me of holidays so I try to imagine I’m lying somewhere exotic. It’s only £2 for a little bottle and this lasts forever. I’ve been using my Diptyque Baies candle whilst in the bath alongside these cute FCUK candles that I got in a set last year.
After my bath I’ve been using my Palmers spray moisturiser on my belly, chest and thighs to try and avoid stretch marks. So far so good! For the rest of the body I’m still obsessed with my Roger & Gallet Fleur d’Osmanthus Revitalising balm* as it’s honestly the best smell ever and lingers forever. If I feel like switching things up a little, I opt for the Kiehl’s Creme de Corps which again smells gorgeous and leaves my skin silky smooth.
It’s time now to move away from the bright summer pinks and head towards the reds regarding nail varnish on my toes. I know I’m not going to be able to paint my toe nails for much longer as my bump really is growing so I’m trying to get it done whilst I still can! I’ve been using my trusty Seche varnish in beloved for that perfect Autumn burgundy colour.
Lip wise, I’ve been smothering them with the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour balm. This is one of my favourite lip balms and I’m so glad I’ve got a full tube to get me through Autumn and Winter. It’ll probably find itself in my hospital bag too as I’ve heard your lips can get really dry with the gas and air! Finally, I like to relax with my Origins Ginzing peel off mask which as you can see sets rose gold! This has brightened my skin so much and although it hasn’t done much for my hormonal spots, I’ve still been using it as weekly treat!
What are your Autumn pamper essentials?
